Birth Stories Discussion Group

Hearing and telling positive birth stories allows all women, regardless of their birth history, to  accept the past while feeling empowered moving forward.

Birth stories told by women who were active participants in giving birth often express a good deal of practical wisdom, inspiration, and information for other women. Positive stories shared by women who have had wonderful childbirth experiences are an irreplaceable way to transmit knowledge of a woman’s true capacities in pregnancy and birth.

By having a space that is accepting and encouraging of all births, we are building a community of women and mothers that are able to work together to build a positive birth atmosphere.  While at times birth may not go exactly as planned, we are here to listen  to those disappointments while also helping women find that confidence to move forward we know they have inside of them.

Morgan, our Professional Social Worker and Doula, and Emily, our Doula and Massage Therapist, will allow time for both individuals to share their personal stories as well as a group discussion about various topics related to birth.

We would love for you to join us to share your story and hear other's share their stories. Moms, Dads, Partners, and Grandparents are all welcome to this free event, as well as babies on your lap.

We cannot wait to hear your story!
